This year, we celebrate Symbion’s 40 Years Anniversary – four decades of bringing entrepreneurs, researchers and businesses together.

Symbion was founded in 1986 by three researchers from the University of Copenhagen with a clear ambition: to create the best possible environment for entrepreneurs and growth companies, while building bridges between academia, established businesses and entrepreneurship.

For 40 years, Symbion has operated as a non-profit organisation, with a clear focus on creating value for entrepreneurs and growth companies. Rather than distributing profits to our owners, any surplus is reinvested in our community, facilities and activities – helping us continuously improve the environment and opportunities we offer entrepreneurs.

Today, Symbion is owned by the Symbion Foundation, the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School and a group of private shareholders, all sharing the ambition that has been at the heart of Symbion for the past 40 years.

Join us at Symbion Østerbro to celebrate Symbion’s 40th anniversary. Everyone who would like to mark this special occasion with us is warmly welcome.
