We are going to begin this Friday Bar with tasting gin from the small Nørrebro-based distillery Flavors Laboratory.

Marco Donolato, co-founder of BluSense Diagnostics (located at Symbion) is one of the three people behind the project. He built Flavors Laboratory together with two friends and fellow PhDs in Physics, sharing passion for science and crafting, and curiosity to explore the world of flavors.

He is looking forward to introducing the people of Univate to 3 different kinds of gin and perhaps tell you a bit about the story behind Flavors Laboratory.

The distillery produces premium small batches of distillates and liqueurs, focusing on high quality organic products, advanced extraction techniques and great flavors. The distillation process is run in vacuum through a custom-made setup, which allows to maintain the process at low temperature and therefore to preserve flavors and freshness of the botanicals.

Flavors Laboratory focuses on the production of gin, with 3 different gin recipes already launched based on more than 50 different botanicals. The distillery also makes liqueurs: Flavors’ Limoncello and Mastiha are based on traditional Italian and Greek recipes and enhanced with few gentle tastes that make the final products even more pleasing.
