Symbion is the largest science park in Denmark. Our mission is to commercialize innovative and high-tech projects in the fields of IT, telecommunication, biotech, pharma and medtech, by creating a conducive entrepreneurial environment, where research meets with trade and commerce.

Currently, Symbion has four locations in Copenhagen:

Symbion in Østerbro - this is our main science park with around 90 start-up companies working in the fields of it, biotechnology, medtech and consultancy.

5te and 5teUnit are both located in Ørestaden, near the IT University. Around 100 companies work here mainly in IT, design and IT related consultancy.
 
COBIS is our new biotech science park located in Nørrebro.

We have 20 years of experience working with start-up companies. We have two business development programs: Accelerace and GazelleGrowth. Both programs are free for participants, however they are only open for companies or projects with a high growth potential and the ability to succeed on in international market.

Moreover, Symbion invests in start-up companies through DTU Innovation og SEED Capital.

At Symbion, we have a Conferencecenter open for anyone to use.
